Love the little snapshots at the end. Tugged at my heart and made me feel hopeful that Joel and Omar will be able to work through any issues together no matter what.

Art is amazing as usual <3

Thank you so much!! <3 This comment made my day!!

Mishka has a unique way of taking some of the boldest colors and matching them up to create atmospheric pages that match the mood of this tale and that of the characters. He paces us through, changing the palette when things become softer or colder,  and lighting it when the moment becomes warmer. These two characters have been on a journey and the delivery of their tale is handled beautifully that you can feel for them on the page.

A powerful short story to show one of the many, diverse relationships two men can experience and the journey they can share together. Absolutely enjoyed it!

Thank you Ryn!! Your review is nothing short of mindblowing and my heart squeezed reading it. Thank you!!

I absolutely adore this comic. The pacing, the colors, the sheer emotion that come through just with the palette of each scene?? Gosh I love it!

Also I love how, lived in the world and  the characters feel, from the half carried away leaf pile the yard to the woolly socks the characters wear. I just,, just love. Thank you so much for sharing this work with all of us.

Thank you Kuutti!! This made my month !!

Everytime I read this comic, I feel a punch in my heart. (IN A GOOD WAY!) I honestly love this comic! The pacing in "Shrapnel Scars" is like watching a movie and both Joel and Omar are written so skillfully that they feel like real people. You belive their struggle and you see and feel the love and respect they have for eachother.  I feel that queer slice of life stories with masculine adult men are rarely seen in any media and I am so glad that this comic exists <3 Also the use of color in this comic is stellar! It conveys so much emotion and enhances the storytelling beautifully.

THANK YOU!!
